Text: Genesis 1:14-16; Mark 5:24-36

I. God is a God of “TIMING”

II. He Operates in Seasons= Set Times
a. Cycles
b. Circles
c. Eternal

God spoke the word in to existence
i. Everything within an eternal God manifested external or earthly

The Bible declares several vital terms in context of time:

1. An Appointed Time (Hebrew=Zeman)
a. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything (all manner of everyone, place, thing) there is a season (set, appointed time)”

2. Set or Appointed Time (Hebrew=Mo’ed)
a. An appointment, a space of time, appointed and definite

3. An Occasion (Greek=Kairos)
a. A space of time, an opportunity of uncertain affinity. An occasion, set or proper time.

Exodus 9:5 - 5And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

III. To Understand a “God Moment”
a. Genesis 1:3-5 “Then God said, Let there by light…”
i. God “said” let there be light – on the 1st day
ii. But he didn’t create the sun and moon until the 4th day
1. There are going to be times when you are getting “light” (Hebrew=Illumination) and you don’t see any substance
a. God will speak “light” before there is a sun or moon

IV. Your Responsibilities
a. All you need to do is “Walk in the Light”
b. You will walk in some things by “faith” that will take you years to walk by “sight”
c. Don’t surround yourself with people who can’t “see”
i. They don’t comprehend the methods, principles and patterns of God.
1. You conquer by yielding
2. You gain by giving
3. You overcome by being defeated
4. You live by dying

V. Everything About God is “LIGHT”
a. That “light” is in You
i. The solar system is a metaphor to help you understand the relationship of God with the church (or) you
ii. To be a signal, a beacon, evidence, a sign for seasons (mo’ed)

Genesis 1:14 - 14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years

VI. To Effect the “Night” – Or Reflect
a. Light=You – and you MUST maintain your “relationship” with God

VII. God Lets Us Appear to Have Light
a. But is you lose “connection” with the “Light” you go back to darkness

VIII. The Revelation of a God Moment
a. It’s all about “cycles”
b. I’m coming to my season “spinning”
c. Going round and round
d. I’m fertile right now
e. If you give me a seed=(a word), I will get pregnant

IX. Mark 5 Jairus= “Whom God Enlightens”
a. Influential man
b. Important synagogue of wealth
i. Goes to Jesus because his only daughter is dying
c. While on his way, Jesus runs into a woman with problems
i. According to Leviticus, she could NOT touch Jesus
ii. Forbidden because she had a (cycle) that would not stop
1. When you have had a trouble long enough> will make you break some rules=get out of character
d. Woman with an issue of blood= for 12 years
e. Jairus’ daughter= 12 years old

Spiritually speaking= these cycles are interconnected

X. What is wrong with the woman is the reflection of the little girl in you
a. 2 cycles
b. 2 generations
c. 2 problems
