God’s Daily Miracles

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 10:03 AM

The word “miracle” comes from the latin word miraculum – “object of wonder,” “marvelous event caused by God.”  Other related root words are mirari, “to wonder at,” mirus, “wonderful” and smeiros, “to smile, be astonished.”

As Christians, we associate miracles with events that can only occur through the intervention and power of our Almighty Father.  We look to the supernatural acts of God found in the Bible: Moses parting the Red Sea…Jesus turning water to wine…feeding 5000 with a five loaves and two fish…the “virgin birth” of Christ…

Inspire Others Through Continual Growth!

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 10:02 AM

Life’s opportunities and challenges never end. There will always be something new to learn, to try, and to experience.  There will be new people to meet, new places to go, new insights to gain, and to share.

One of the best ways to share God’s goodness is by living in a manner that inspires others.  A wonderful way to inspire others is through an attitude of support and encouragement. As parents this is one of our primary ways to nurture our children as they grow.

Dare to Dream

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 10:01 AM

As our nation, world—and perhaps even our own lives—experience a period of upheaval, God has a message of vital importance for each of us: Dare to dream – even now!

I believe God is urging us to push forward and pursue our life-long goals and dreams – especially at this time.  And to assist us in this mission, the Holy Spirit will reveal new gifts, talents, and abilities for us to draw upon, as we focus forward and strive toward our God-given purpose and destiny!

Get Alone With God!

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 09:59 AM

I often encounter people who assume that God sees them as worthless throwaways, deserving to be cast into the
nearest hellfire, or punished by His awesome wrath. The truth is, God doesn’t see you or anyone else that way. He sees
you as His beloved creation, with whom He desires to spend eternity.

Abraham

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 09:58 AM

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto
a land that I will shew thee.

Genesis 12:1

It’s a good thing that God doesn’t consult our past to determine our future. If He did, Abraham’s family background that
included serving strange gods (Joshua 24:2) would have kept him from becoming the father of the Jewish nation. God
chose Abraham and his descendants to fulfill His purpose and design despite their heathen past, and He does the same
in our lives.

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 09:56 AM

And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth…
Deuteronomy 8:18

In life, you attract what you respect…and this is true of money, too! If you don’t respect money, it won’t respect you. I
believe you have to value money…because money is attracted to people who respect it.

Adversity

Posted by Paula White - Thu, July 30, 2009 at 09:54 AM

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be
found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:7
How would your life be different if you looked at the oppositions in your life as opportunities? What if what you see as
your biggest barrier to success is really your biggest blessing. Peter said that God is using every adversity that comes
your way to refine you as a priceless possession more precious than gold.

Associations

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners
1 Corinthians 15:33
How would describe the health of your relationships? Be honest, because it’s crucial for your life. There are four types of
people in your life: people who add, people who subtract; people who multiply, and people who divide. If you are
presently involved in relationships that prey on your heart and rob you of control over your life, it’s time to make a change.
