November 6, 2008Posted by Paula White - Thu, November 06, 2008 at 03:10 AM Wow! We are already a week into November, a month where Thanksgiving is pre-eminent on our minds. Personally, I am still thanking the Lord for the awesome move of His Spirit we experienced at Mega fest in South Africa. Seeing over 100,000 people come together with the purest worship and hunger for the sweet presence of God…it was a very rewarding and humbling experience. I continue to stand amazed at being privileged to minister to those great and courageous people, as they steadfastly continue to thank God for His ever-present grace and love. Of course, in a few short weeks here at home we will be celebrating our Thanksgiving holidays. There is no better time to keep the blessings and grace of God foremost in our minds. During this challenging economic climate it might be easy to lose focus on His never-ending grace – but this is a good time to take stock of the simple blessings we take for granted daily. “Thanksgiving” is about expressing our appreciation and thankfulness to everyone who makes a difference in our lives: family, friends, co-workers, our community helpers, our ministry members. So don’t wait until the holiday to give thanks…why not make the entire month of November a month of expressing your gratefulness to those around you? Every day choose someone to show your appreciation and say “thanks” to. When we stop to truly recognize and appreciate all that we have and be thankful even for the small things we begin to develop an attitude of thanksgiving that we will have all year long. And above all, remember to thank our heavenly Father God who gives us each and every good thing in life. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 Talk to you soon! Share This!
