Hey guys…
Just came out of the Life by Design Conference…WOW! I was so blown away by God’s goodness! Typically you feel a lot of the behind-the-scenes labor, physical and mental, that goes into a conference of this magnitude…but there was such an ease to everything this time! I am so proud of my staff, volunteers, partners, friends, and every person that made it happen.
I stand in amazement at all the people around me that have a heart for God and work with excellence and quality. Grand Slam! – Kudos to all of you! Not only did I have the opportunity to minister, but it was as if God wrote a script and ministered to me.
Of course, afterwards…I believe in ‘work hard, play hard’, so I gave my staff and myself a couple of days off (smile). Although, are there really any days off when you are following the call and doing God’s work??
I was supposed to be in Atlanta Sunday evening, to be part of the Dallas Austin Foundation’s Fundraiser to put music education back in the public schools – co-chaired by Denzel Washington – but instead I sat on the runway for hours, not able to get there. Once again, I learned that my footsteps are ordered and fashioned by God…get the message I preached at Without Walls on Sunday to understand that one!
So, for the next forty-eight hours afterwards, I slept, read and relaxed. I think I brushed my teeth and my hair once (ha ha ha). I read a lot, relaxed a lot, played in the water, and had a very refreshing two days.
I am back in the saddle, headed to Miami where I am filming “10 Commandments of Health and Wellness.” I am excited about this principle! I knew years ago when my health was challenged to get wisdom on how to best take care of the temple. After many years, I am really excited to share this information with my friends and family -- you guys! Even my mom started the lifestyle change with this program and information. No only does she feel great, but for a lady who is in the age of social security and Medicare, she sure is one hot Mama!
Remember to always pray and let’s continue to make a difference!
As always, be encouraged. I speak success and every promise of God to come to pass in your life. Remember, tough days don’t last – tough people do! Keep going for God!
I love you guys – talk to ya’ next time,
Paula

7/7. Inspiration Written by Guest - Sunday, April 01, 2007 | Paula
you really are awesome and you inspire myself and so many others to hold on to God and not give up. You are a blessing to have in the midst. You made a true statement concerning ordered footsteps, we have a lot we want to do, are asked to do and just simply need to do, and it is imperative to our blessing and the sucess of the ministry to allow our steps to be carefully ordered by our creator himself. God Bless and Keep You. LaReis Liles |
