Paula White Ministries and The San Antonio Epicenter: A Place for Life recently partnered with San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries (SAMM) Transitional Learning & Living Center to host a “Mothers Day Pampered Luncheon.”
Mothers Getting Pampered
PWM provided manicures and pedicures, sponsored a fashion show, shared the gospel, and provided a catered lunch.
Mothers Getting Pampered
SAMMinistries, founded in 1983, is an interfaith ministry dedicated to providing shelter and care to the homeless of San Antonio. Today, SAMMinistries is the largest service provider of direct care and shelter in San Antonio and the surrounding area. In 2000, SAMMinistries expanded to include transitional housing for families in need at the Transitional Living and Learning Center (TLLC). The TLLC is a residential facility for up to 40 homeless families with minor children who show a commitment to gaining self-sufficiency.
Mothers Getting Pampered
A family may live at the Center for up to two years; the head of household must either be working, going to school or a combination of both; families are offered classes in life-skills building, money management, nurturing parent, resume writing, and GED exam readiness. A certified child care facility and after school care is provided, and the facility has a computer lab, a library, and a recreation space.
Mother and Baby
Thank you, partners and friends, for enabling us to honor the spirit of the Lord at work in the lives of these awesome moms and their families!
