UNION: The act of uniting 2 or more things into one state of being united. Something formed by uniting 2 or more things that are made 1… Unite: To join, combine or incorporate so as to from a single whole or unit.

In our text is a private conversation between Jesus and His CHOSEN disciples.. It’s “Not a CONGREGATIONAL” message to the masses… BUT a personal one! To THE CHOSEN- to those that have been HAND PICKED by God to USHER in a NEW SEASON and TURN the WORLD UPSIDE DOWN!

God is PURSUING His people… You are here because His SPIRIT is calling you to WORSHIP, to THRONE ROOM ministry, in order to manifest on earth what God has ordered in heaven!

TEXT: John 15:1-8, 15-16 (MESSAGE)-
“Live in me. Make your home in me, just as I do in you… you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me… I am the vine. You are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you – the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing!”

John 4:23, 24-“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshippers. God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”

Man was MADE to WORSHIP… The word WORSHIP means: To honor, revere, adore, pay homage, render devotion and respect in thought, feeling or act!

WORSHIP = ( anglo- saxon compound) -(Weorth) = worth, value, honor, respect. (Scype) = To shape or to build something. *Together = To shape or build worth, value or respect.

Every aspect of our being should frame the worth, value and respect due to His name and person. Therefore, WORSHIP IS A LIFESTYLE… IT’S A LIFE OF CO-EXISTENCE WITH GOD… FROM the BEGINNING it has been the HEART THROB of GOD to have “COMMUNION & UNION” with you. God DESIRES an INTIMATE relationship with man… a “ONENESS”.

Exodus 25: 8,9-“Then have them make a SANCTUARY (heb= holy place / consecrated thing) for ME & I will DWELL among them.”

DWELL = (heb) = lodging, to reside or stay permanently. God wants to live with you! That is where worship comes in & why it is so important.

Through WORSHIP we have intimate contact with God & unlock His BLESSINGS. As we become INTIMATE with HIM through TRUE WORSHIP. He will RENEW & RESHAPE our hearts & we will SEE HIS HEART..

We can become like clay & then CAN BE shaped in His image, where He consummates the character of Christ in us. Once we are shaped in HIS IMAGE, then we can accomplish the PURPOSE for which HE created us.

-God told the children of Israel in (Num 15:37-39 NIV)
“The Lord said to Moses, Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'Throughout the generations to come you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments, with a blue cord on each tassel. You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by going after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.”

This was a prayer shawl – He was saying STAY IN MY PRESENCE

God tells us in: (Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV) “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

Worship brings us into intimate union with God to open and change our heart!

*Our God is a God of RELATIONSHIP. He is a COVENANT KEEPING GOD. He keeps HIS PROMISES!

UNION with Christ is the foundation of ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS…

1 Corinthians 6:17 NIV- “But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in Spirit.”

Without CONNECTION to HIM - There could be NO regeneration, no justification, no sanctification, no glorification! No “Abundant life”..(ie )= No life that is “superior in quality.”

1 Corinthians 1:9- “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The word “FELLOWSHIP” signifies such a CO-PARTNERSHIP between persons, that they have a joint interest in one & the same enjoyment, which is common between them. This “Fellowship” or “Communion” with God… (which allows you to sit down with Him in His private council) is entirely dependent on our UNION with HIM.
