Paula White Ministries Helps Support Medical Mission to Rwanda and BurundiTuesday, July 15, 2008 As Dr. Patricia Bailey Jones and MTM Global departed for a mission-trip to war-torn Rwanda and Burundi, Paula White Ministries gave a helping hand with a generous donation towards medical supplies, as well as inspirational resources for evangelistic outreach.
While every major non-Christian religion is headquartered in the 10/40 Window – Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and a variety of indigenous religions, as well as millions of people whose beliefs are unaccounted for – most of the people in this region will never have a chance to hear the Gospel without missionary intercession. Dr. Bailey Jones is leading a team of field missionaries into war-torn Rwanda and Burundi, and PWM support is helping deliver much needed medical supplies, vitamins, anti-septic wipes, aspirin, and cough syrup – as well as a case full of Pastor Paula’s inspirational message to mothers around the world, “Mama, Get Up!” The populations of Rwanda and Burundi have been ravaged by decades of civil wars, and genocide; millions of children live in poverty, without education, orphaned by AIDS and war. Additionally, PWM stands by MTM’s mission to train world-wide leaders for Christ, through its Global Impact Leadership Training Center, which offers an intensive training program designed to “equip stateside leaders and foreign nationals in Apostolic Missions …where students learn 21st century strategies for global and local outreach from the leading apostolic generals in our time.” Thank you, Covenant Partners and friends…your support helps Paula White Ministries continue to impact the world for Christ, through these and other global missions initiatives! |
