Always Sisters/Forever Brothers is the vision of gospel great CeCe Winans who several years ago felt lead to help address the challenging and often times overwhelming problems and issues that face today’s youth. Through this two-day conference, CeCe and a host of noteworthy speakers, pastors and celebrities will tackle life issues such as the AIDS epidemic, teen suicide and pregnancy, and father-less families for a start. Who attends the conference? More than 5,000 youth ranging in age from 13 to 26 will pack Belmont University’s Curb Center this July coming from as far away as the continent of Africa and from California to New York here in the U.S. They will come seeking for wisdom, hope and inspiration; ammunition to help them fight the daily challenges that the youth of today face. Just like your son or daughter or your neighbors. Who has participated in the conference program in the past? A wide variety of visionary speakers, pastors and celebrities have joined CeCe each year since the Conference’s inception in 2005. Such luminaries as Maya Angelou, Kim Daniels, Nancy Alcorn, and Jentezen Franklin have spoken. Music greats like Mandisa, Donnie McClurkin and Kiki Sheard have joined CeCe on stage as well as celebrities like the great Whitney Houston.
