Carl's First Fruits

Dear Paula,

“I own a small heating and air conditioning company. I have listened to your teaching on First Fruits for 2 years. Last year I meant to sow my first fruit and I got scared and explained it away and didn’t do it. I had the worst year in business to date and I’ve been in business for the last 21 years. But last year I believed that God was bearing witness in my Spirit that what you were saying was truth for me.

I believe that my disobedience cost me a lot more than a first fruits offering would have been.  I purposed that this would not happen to me this year, so I decided long before January of 09’ that I would give the first A/C job as a first fruit offering to the Lord.  I did it, and regardless of the outcome, I feel that the release that I felt when I released the offering in itself was worth it.  I felt a burden come off of my spirit man.

  I am totally in tears with humble joy as I tell you that the month of January will close at 35K above the monthly budget, on a month in which we budget a loss instead of a profit.  Nothing in the life of this company has ever happened like this before.  If the “first governs the rest”, I expect to do a lot of humbling and joyful crying as we watch God raise us up for the end time harvest that is all around us.  Thank you for teaching this valuable and life changing truth.”
